Crime Alert: More Neighborhood Auto Break-Ins

crime-alert1

What happens when you leave a valuable in your vehicle parked outside at night?

There’s a great likelihood that it will be gone in the morning.  Along with a great chance that your vehicle window(s) will be smashed if the doors were locked.

How do we know this?

For the past 2+ years, Providence Arbours (and surrounding neighborhoods) have been targeted by criminals looking for easy access to valuables.  Every couple of months, you can count that criminals will score in our community.

The Providence Arbours Neighborhood Watch received the following news today from CMPD’s Officer Russell (our community coordinator).  Criminals were hard at work last night on Esherwood Lane in Providence Arbours and on South Hall Drive and Whitmore Pond Lane in neighboring communities.

  • 4400 Block of Esherwood Lane:  Theft from Motor Vehicle
  • South Hall Drive:  Damage/Vandalism of Property
  • Whitmore Pond Lane:  Theft from Motor Vehicle

CMPD reminds all of us to always remove valuables from your vehicle.
