Spring Ahead

Don’t forget to set your clocks forward an hour this Sunday, March 14, 2010.  Benjamin Franklin is credited with the concept of Daylight Saving Time. The concept is to make the best use of daylight hours by shifting the clock forward in the Spring and backward in the Fall.

Daylight Saving Time officially begins this year at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 14.

In addition to moving your clocks forward by 1 hour, remember to change the batteries in your smoke detectors as well!
