Jason is married to Erin, who is the daughter of a good friend of mine. Erin works for a non-profit organization. They are a wonderful young couple!!!! Glad to see a passionate teacher getting recognition.

You raise a great question which I posed, on your behalf, to Patti Weber (President of the Providence Arbours HOA). Please note the below feedback which I have put into my own words based on her response.

Your HOA dues pay for the park and its upkeep. The Providence Arbours HOA does not plan for, nor fund, activities that take place in the park.

That said, the HOA supports the efforts of, but does not financially fund, the Providence Arbours Social Club. The club exists as a “grass roots” organization & is not part of the HOA.

The purpose of the Providence Arbours Social Club is to coordinate activities that build connections between all community residents. In speaking with one of the upcoming party organizers, Patti has been told that the $5.00 helps to cover the cost of the band.

As always, you are welcome, as a resident of the neighborhood, to enjoy the Community Park at all times during park hours. Should you visit the park during the evening of June 7th, it would be a nice gesture to contribute to the Providence Arbours Social Club. It certainly is not a requirement.

Part of my HOA fees go to cover the park. Now I am told I need to pay $5 to go to the park for a party. What does the $5 cover that my HOA fees does not? Does this mean I can not use the park the night of the party with out paying $5?
