How do I obtain a copy of the neighborhood rules (known as CC&Rs “Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions)? You may download an electronic copy of the CC&Rs by visiting the CC&Rs page on the website. For a hard copy, contact Julie Shadrick, Community Association Manager at Henderson Properties, Inc., at 704-535-1122 ext. 48 or via email at jshadrick@hendersonproperties.com.
What types of improvement projects require approval by the Architectural Review Committee? Section 6.2 (Approval of Plans and Architectural Committe) of the CC&Rs fully answers this question. While it is important that you read and understand this section, following is a partial excerpt from the section: “no construction, reconstruction, remodeling, alteration, roofing or addition to any structure, building, fence, wall, drive or walkway, or exterior color change, shall be commenced or maintained upon any Lot, nor shall any exterior addition to or change or alteration therein be made after completion of construction of said dwelling, unless and until the plans and specifications showing the nature, kind, shape, height, color, material and location of the same shall have been mailed to the Committee…”.
How do I obtain approval from the Architectural Review Committee? You must complete a “Request for Architectural Approval” form and submit the form (with required samples, drawings, etc. as applicable) to Providence Arbours HOA, c/o Henderson Properties, Inc., 919 Norland Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28205. Forms can also be faxed to Henderson Properties at 704-569-9669.

How long does the approval process take once I submit a “Request for Architectural Approval” form? 30 days from the time that the form, along with all required samples, drawings, etc. are submitted.
