Neighborhood Watch

The residents of Providence Arbours enjoy living in one of Charlotte’s safest neighborhoods.  With the assistance of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD), community residents launched a formal “Neighborhood Watch” program in 2007.  The “Neighborhood Watch” program was launched to ensure the continued safety and security of Providence Arbours as Charlotte continues its fast-paced growth.

What is the Neighborhood Watch Program?

Neighborhood Watch The Neighborhood Watch program is a proven strategy that helps to reduce the incident of crime in Providence Arbours and neighboring communities.  Cornerstones of the program include community crime education, improved communication, increased familiarity between community residents and the creation of community “zones” supported by “Zone Captains”.
